Sad move for Florida teen

Not surprisingly, a Florida judge has approved an abortion for a troubled 13-year-old in state custody. The girl apparently opted for abortion after being "counseled" at a "women's clinic."

Juvenile Judge Ronald Alvarez (search) on Monday ruled that the teen, who has been in state custody for four years, would not be physically or emotionally harmed by the procedure. Last week, Alvarez blocked the girl's abortion until a psychological evaluation was completed.

He's not only a judge -- he's a psychic! He's able tp accurately predict that she won't be harmed! Evidently he's not done any research on risk factors for poor adjustment after abortions. Nor did the shrink he sent her to for an evaluation. Prayers that this girl finds help before it's too late, or at the least that she finds the help she needs to cope afterward, because God knows that judge and that shrink and the ACLU lawyers won't be anywhere to be found.
